Sancho Van Ryan of Future M3dia was on the red carpet for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society “Man & Woman Of The Year” Charity Event. He interviews Sarah Wilbur, one of this year’s candidates for Woman Of The Year, about how the competition works. 5 male and 5 female candidates compete to see who can raise the most money for blood cancer research. Dr Christopher Khorsandi of VIP Plastic Surgery in Henderson, NV, talks about supporting the LLS and the importance of philanthropy in everyone’s life. Eric Blank, one of the board members of the Southern Nevada Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and the 2009 LLS Man Of The Year, reveals how much the LLS contributions have grown over the last few years and the specific ways that the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society helps those suffering from blood cancer. He also discusses future LLS fundraisers including the “Light The Night” walk happening November 1st in downtown Las Vegas.

Increase funding from non-LLS sources to accelerate the discovery and development of blood cancer therapies
Encourage an effective and science-driven regulatory system for efficient review of new blood cancer therapies
Ensure patients have insurance coverage for their treatments and well-coordinated and high quality cancer care
Revenue, Marketing and Field Management
Develop models for revenue growth and allocation among sources to guide future plans
Increase public awareness of LLS as the leading non-profit funding impactful research that is accelerating the development of new therapies and treatments for blood cancer patients
Increase public awareness of the impact blood cancer research is having on patients beyond those for whom they were first developed
Information Technology
